Registration for daytime showcases of SIM São Paulo 2019 is open. Bands and artists interested in performing to the key music industry figures from Latin America and all over the world can apply for it until August 9th at simsaopaulo.com.
These daytime showcases are one of the highlights of SIM. Each year the list of subscribers is more diversified: for the 2018 edition, SIM São Paulo received 2,299 applications from artists from 25 Brazilian states and 22 countries.
The 20-minute performance helps artists to expand business and opportunities to enter a new market, meet fellow musicians and reach a new audience in Brazil.
In 2019, SIM Consulting Board will again have the difficult task of selecting 27 projects to play at Sala Adoniran Barbosa, at CCSP, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on December 5, 6 and 7. Bands or solo artists from every genre from across the globe will be selected. At least 50% of the vacancies will be filled by projects of (or with) women.
The final list will be announced on September 9 at simsaopaulo.com and SIM São Paulo social networks.

Previous artists who have performed at the SIM São Paulo showcases are some of the most important names of contemporary music, such as Allie X (Canada), The Gift (Portugal), Conan Osíris (Portugal), Miss Bolivia (Argentina), Bixiga 70, Linn da Quebrada, Xênia França, Tim Bernardes, among many others.
